Exams are an ongoing phenomenon and you never get a break. There are two types of eating during exams season, stress eating and 7asra eating. Both of which can lead to serious weight gain (not really the problem, the problem is really, the guilt that follows), but from now on you can give up Indomi, leb, and chipsy and try out these healthy snacks that are loaded with nutrients.
1. Dried fruits (apricots, dates, raisins, cranberries)
They’re full of fibers and are basically natural laxatives. You can mix them with nuts and make your own trail mix or just eat them alone, you do you!
2. Nuts (almonds, cashews etc)
Nuts are super nutritious, they’re loaded with antioxidants AND they aid in weight loss, so if you’re on a diet or you just like watching your calories, consuming nuts in moderate amounts is the perfect snack for you!
Ahhh.. my favorite! Especially with labneh or any other white creamy cheese. This is probably the least healthy choice on this list but it still is quite delicious!
4. Dark chocolate
Now I know most of you might prefer normal milk chocolate but it’s dark chocolate that made this list and not milk. Dark chocolate is really healthy, it reduces the risk of heart disease, it protects your skin for the sun, and it improves brain function! So grab a square of dark chocolate and enjoy the results!
5. Peanut butter and apples
Other than being hella delicious, peanut butter and apples are anti inflammatory, they support digestion and they help balance blood sugar. And they’re super delicious!!!
Hummus is packed with plant based protein and it’s perfect for vegans, people with allergies and lactose intolerant people! Also, add carrots as dippers to increase the health benefit.
7. Avocado toast
Avocados actually contain more potassium than bananas and they lower cholesterol levels. So grab an avocado and some toast and make yourself an instagram worthy snack
