7 All Natural Shots to Protect You From the Flu

The season of colds and flus is upon us now, and I bet we’re all struggling with getting rid of the flu thats just stuck to us. I’m here to make it easier and help you out by telling some shots and remedies for getting rid of your annoying flu. 


1. Olive Oil and Lemon
Yes, I know, it sounds disgusting but I promise you it’ll make everything go away faster. Mix two teaspoons of olive oil with half a lemon and drink up. Repeating this for a day or two will remove your flu as olive oil is a great immune booster and lemons contain vitamin C which we all know prevents the flu. 


2. Ginger
Ginger is known for reducing inflammations and bacteria and it also fights colds, flu, nausea and congestion. You can try eating ginger, but for better results take a shot. To prepare a shot at home you’ll start by peeling the ginger then putting it into a juicer and collecting the juice, you can also add half a lemon to increase its efficiency. 


3. Avocado and Lemon
Avocado is a great source for zinc and zinc is known for reducing flu symptoms and helping you recover faster if it’s taken within the first 24 hours of catching the flu. Cut a piece of ripe avocado as ripe avocados are softer and easier to turn into liquids. Squeeze half a lemon on the avocado and keep crushing it until it forms a liquid-y substance. Now it’s all ready for you to drink up. 


4. Oregano Oil 
One tablespoon of oregano oil will seal the deal. Oregano is known for it’s antiviral, antibiotic, and immune stimulating effects. It will also get rid of your stuffy nose and help you take your breath easily. 


5. Peppermint Oil
Just like oregano oil, peppermint oil will make your breathing better and help get rid of the fu, most people prefer drinking peppermint tea but for a quick and concentrated effect, try taking a tablespoon of peppermint oil. 


6. Honey and Cinnamon
Honey and cinnamon will definitely help prevent mucus buildup and keeps you hydrated. You can add some hot water and lemon to maximize its effect.


7. Water 
Yes, I know. That’s not really a shot but, staying hydrated will definitely help get rid of any sickness, just keep a bottle of warm water beside you at all times. Warm water will relieve any throat pain and congestion.
