Christmas is right around the corner which means it’s officially that time of year when you get all warm and cozy by the fireplace with some hot cocoa while watching some classic Christmas movies like Home Alone, Elf, Miracle on 34th street and many more. However, for some, nearing the holiday usually means last minute Christmas shopping, which can get very stressful hectic at times. So, this year i have decided to portray the role of Santa’s little helper and compile a list of gifts that you can purchase when you are on a time crunch.
1) Jewelry
One of the more basic gifts in my opinion. For most women, you can never really go wrong with jewelry. If you want to spice it up I’d recommend a necklace or bracelet with your initials-if it’s for your partner, you can also get a necklace or bracelet with their birthstone whether its your mom, friend or even partner. However, if you aren’t on a time crunch I’d suggest a custom made item of jewelry.
Making the basic gift more thoughtful and unique.
2) Perfumes
Yet again another basic gift but honestly perfumes are rather expensive and if it’s the right scent than its the right gift. Again, if you aren’t on a time crunch there are websites and stores where you can custom make your very own scent which is really cool and cute too.
3) Merch
You can never go wrong with buying merch. Most likely the person you want to buy a gift for has an idol which probably has their own merch or clothing line. Buying someone their idol’s merch can make them over the moon ecstatic.
4) Paintings
If you have been blessed with the talent of painting or drawing or anything in that is related to art, a great and unique gift would be to give them a painting of your own making. It’s very thoughtful and sweet, very much precious too.
5) 365 Days of Happiness
For all of you on a budget but still want to get a thoughtful, cute and special gift then this is it for you folks. Basically all you need are 4 things. Paper or post it notes, a pen, a container to put the paper in and finally your imagination-or google whichever works best for you. On each piece of paper write down things that you are thankful for about this particular person or just write down things that’ll make them smile when they read it whether it’s complements, jokes or even puns. It’s super easy, very fast and not to mention of course very considerate too.
6) Accessories
Something you can never go wrong with. A nice purse, watch, phone cover, a hat or even a (custom) keychain could go a long way especially if they’ve previously mentioned wanting one. Also – scarves! It’s scarf season anyway, and nothing accentuates an outfit like a gorgeous scarf.
7) Decor
Yet again something you can’t go wrong with. Gifting someone a flowers or a plant, dream-catchers, lava lamps, antiques or just decor generally is a unique gift as is.
Whether you celebrate it or not, at the end of the day Christmas is all about spending quality time with your loved ones and counting your blessings. Always remember the Grinch’s very wise words “Christmas doesn’t come from a store”
