Kazoku- Highlight Of My Weekend

By: Youssef Fekry

This is by far one of the most satisfying experiences I’ve ever had, literally. All the way from the waiting area outside the restaurant, to the fine fed beef I overdosed on. It was so pleasing, I continued eating beyond satiety.Screen Shot 2018-01-20 at 7.55.11 PM.png

Let’s just start with the atmosphere, it’s extremely tempting to explore all the different rooms of this dynamical art piece. Aged paintings that I bet are worth more than i could think of, as well as prismatic vases that add their blissful vibe to the environment, are gracefully spread throughout the periphery of the unique rooms. Other than the lights being a little too dim to cherish the hotties (the platters), I was very appeased by the interior design, it assuredly made me look forward to the rest of my Kazoku experience.

Moving on to their service, stellar greetings from the moment you step it to when you walk out the door, theres always a server around for when you need anything. The food takes around 25 minutes before it was served, which is adequate for the treasure they bless you with.

Kazoku has reached a whole other level of awesomeness, they have each human day divided into three sectors: Daily Lunch, Early Dinner, and Late Dinner. Each time period is obviously targeted for a different age group, the restaurant’s theme and vibe changes throughout these different timings.

(Daily opening hours)
Daily Lunch: from 2PM till 6PM
Early Dinner: from 7PM till 10PM
Late Dinner: from 10PM till 1AM

Kazoku offers an ample selection of fresh rolled sushi. Those handmade drops that’s come straight from the breezing scent of the sea are extremely delectable. You’ll find these tasty bites to be too ambrosial, to where you may tend to finish your platter and move on to your friends’ (as someone obviously did😬).

Ohh, how that smile spread my blooming cheeks wide apart after my first glimpse at that lean beauteous… the beef sirloin was perfectly cooked, leaving its taste indefectible. Perfectly seasoned as well, while soaked in their unique Soy sauce, that adds the zenith taste quality.

Alongside these aesthetic platters, I chose to invest my belly in a shared beef tenderloin with a friend of mine. Taking this decision was a little to risky (I almost passed out), though I was certain I wouldn’t regret it.

And of course you wouldn’t allow yourself to leave Kazoku without ordering this one dessert everyone posts on their stories, fa I was thankfully able to convince a fat-hearted friend of mine (no wonder we’re friends😏) to share it with with me. W begad coolest dessert I’ve witnessed this year (2018 bring the competition on👅). It’s basically ice cream, that’s coated with delectable milk chocolate, w kaman ba2a the server pours hot chocolate onto it keda right before you eat it!! MOUTHGASM ALERT!!!

I honestly don’t know what’s it called in the menu😬

Ultimately speaking, it was a jaw-dropping experience filled with food, then food, and finished it off with food. I went for lunch (only time us teens are allowed uslan) and it was really cozy and nice keda. Lala, kazoku surpasses all the exceptions I had for restaurants in Egypt. Which will probably lead me into being a little too picky as I go back to reality🙄.
